根據洛杉磯英勇官方推特稍早發布的推文，英勇隊將在OWL 2021賽季將戰隊基地搬到中國境內，以提早為新賽季做準備，更希望能在今年度讓支持自家隊伍的全球粉絲都能體驗到「線下賽事」，而在中國打比賽更是實現此事的一個範例。
Overwatch: According to multiple sources, Immortals Gaming Club have sold the Los Angeles Valiant, to a currently unknown to me Chinese organisation.
Also according to sources is the new Valiant owner does want a team with a heavy Chinese influence.

此外，針對電競媒體人Halo稍早在個人推特爆料，表示英勇隊已經出售給某中國電競組織、且所有成員都被解約一事，洛杉磯英勇也在推特回應，嚴正否認這件傳聞的真實性，同時指出「IGC將會繼續擁有洛杉磯英勇，我們對於該品牌得以在今年成長的機會及可能性感到興奮」。
